Who We Are

 Gathering Grounds is a place for all people to gather and it is founded in the vision of being a place in which community can come together, communities be formed, and small groups can gather as they grow. 

Every dollar spent at Gathering Grounds includes support of local acts of compassion. Proceeds from sales are used to fund the Lapel Community Food Pantry, global and local services as announced, and the Back to School Supply Store (a service of Ford Street Church provide all the school supplies needed for Lapel Elementary students on the free and reduced lunch rolls). 

Funds raised through the sale of products at Gathering Grounds will also be used to help convene conversations pertaining to justice especially in the areas of racism, sexism, and addiction in the Lapel community and Madison County. Why? Because it’s not just about great coffee! It’s about community and conversation!
